In 2009 Food & Wine magazine awarded Charles “Winemaker of the Year” and in 2010 Seattle Magazine recognized Charles as their “Winemaker of the Year.” The Liquor Barn currently offers three great Charles Smith wines:

Kung Fu Girl Riesling at The Denver Liquor Barn

Kung Fu Girl Riesling

This wine kicks ass with tons of complexity, showing notes of white peach, Linden leaves and slate. Lovely focused acidity, finishing very long with mandarin orange and lots of minerality. Grab the chop sticks, crack a bottle……..this will make you happy
The Velvet Devil Merlot at The Denver Liquor Barn

The Velvet Devil Merlot

Classic Merlot aromas of dark cherries, cedar, pipe tobacco. Anise, stone and cherry
blossoms. Yeah, believe it! Super smooth….a true Velvet Devil.
Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon at The Denver Liquor Barn

Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2012 Chateau Smith is a wine long and rich in the mouth. Aromas of black cherry, wet earth,
anise and a touch of toasted herbs with flavors and a finish to match. 2012 – A New Classic!
